Hope Center to Celebrate Annual Tradition!

Hope Center is ready to celebrate 23 years of hope at our annual Hope for the Holidays celebration! Hope Center staff and volunteers are excited to see some familiar faces at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church again this year. This event has grown into a wonderful event  where new friends and old friends meet to share in fellowship and of course some festive music!

Part of our annual tradition around this Christmas season is to pass out Hope Buckets. This tradition started in the winter of 2000 after the passing of Hope Center member, Chucky Moyers. Since 2000 the bucket has grown and become a staple in our Hope for the Holidays event. The purpose is to give those living with HIV a purposeful gift and to make sure all people attending the party were left with a little hope. The contents of each bucket are donated and put together in memory and honor of Chucky and his family. Click here to learn more about Chucky and the story of the Hope Bucket.

The celebration starts at 11:30 pm and goes to about 3:00 pm on December 7, 2017 at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church.

If you are interested in attending Hope for the Holidays please reach out to the Hope Center office at 865-374-0870 and visit our site at
